Highland

Surrounded by a bend in the Mississippi River, the Highland neighborhood is connected to miles of picturesque walking, running, and biking paths. The iconic Highland Theater has served as the hub of Highland Village, the neighborhood’s main commercial district, since the 1920’s. Redevelopment of the 122-acre former Ford assembly plant will shape the future of Highland. There are plans for a mix of commercial and as many as 4000 new housing units.
